AEFI reporting is now very convenient after the Supreme Court order* dated May 02, 2022. The Central Government has added an adverse event reporting system in the Cowin Portal. Any affected party can report an AEFI using their phone or computer. Several cases have been filed in different High Courts after deaths following vaccines. One is being heard in the Supreme Court.
Australia and UK have recently announced a compensation program for vaccine injured. In India, Kerala government has requested the High Court to ask the Central Government to come up with a compensation policy for the vaccine injured, since multiple cases have been reported across the country.
If any person or anyone around them has suffered from an AEFI (including death), they must report on it at the earliest.
