A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court raising serious concerns regarding the safety and inclusion of the HPV vaccine under the Universal Immunisation Programme (UIP).
The Hon’ble Court has issued notices seeking responses from the Central Government, ICMR and CDSCO.
Our Key Demands:
Complete Transparency: Public disclosure of HPV vaccine safety data, adverse events and related clinical trial findings.
Accountability: Independent scrutiny of the controversial 2009 HPV vaccine trials conducted in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.
Public Safety First: Stringent safety assessments, regulatory safeguards and informed consent protections before any mass rollout under the UIP.
